Roaming Rome

The photos are finally here--believe it or not this album is the abbreviated version of 927 photos is now 215 photos. Here are five for a taste:

The trip was a wonderful business-related surprise--Justin made a presentation about the research he has been doing for the past five or six years with Hal Hoffman, and I roamed around with my camera every day taking photos of everything I could capture during our four days there.

The photos are the sole property of Olaina Anderson. Prints may be purchased for a reasonable investment. Contact me at olaina@olaina.com.

Neighborhoods of San Diego: an 18 month calendar January 2008-June 2009

There will be a limited edition of calendars for sale by the Business Improvement District (BID) Council, most of which are expected to sell at Balboa Park December Nights (Friday and Saturday, Dec. 7 & 8). However, I can take orders via e-mail if anyone wants to purchase one. If I do say so myself, the calendar is beautiful. It is an 18-month calendar, featuring the 18 BIDs of San Diego. Each page shows one dominant image across the top and then two vertical and one horizontal image below the largest image.

The parts of the calendar with the dates leaves enough room for people to use the calendar as a planner.

All this for the low low price of $12.00!

The BID Council wants everyone to see the beautiful and unique neighborhoods of San Diego. Having shot all of the photographs, I ventured into parts of San Diego I had never seen. The BIDs include Adams Avenue, City Heights, the College Area, Diamond, Downtown, El Cajon Boulevard, Gaslamp Quarter, Hillcrest, La Jolla, Little Italy, Mission Hills, North Park, Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach, San Ysidro and the calendar rounds out its 18 months with the two neighborhoods grants were given to: Bird Rock and South Park.

Can you imagine? It's like a little preview to a grand tour of San Diego! Each page gives a sense of the neighborhood's qualities. Each neighborhood is beautiful.
