About
Having spent my life thus far expressing myself and looking for expression in others (especially high school students--I was their teacher) in the written word, I am branching out into photography and art. I've always been immersed in those mediums (Dad is an artist--our walls are his galleries), but now they get a serious part of my attention. And here you see it all combined, my photos, my paintings, my commentary on life.

I am a wife-with-trophies for grades, writing, journalism, teaching, advising a national award-winning high school newspaper and leading numerous volunteer organizations. Now, at 31 (...33), I am finished with being a human doing and am trying to be a human being. While enduring some serious health problems I finally gave myself permission to explore painting and photography as meaningful activities in my life. In these two forms of art I have managed to literally find light in the darkness.
